Apricot Nannies Ltd was established in 2005. 

As a  Nanny recruitment agency run by Sharon Gilbertson CNCC & Paula Stock NNEB & NAMCW who have 46 years combined and ongoing experience as Nannies themselves.

We are based in the beautiful market town of Saffron Walden,Essex and are perfectly placed to cover Essex,Hertfordshire,Suffolk & Cambridgeshire.

Our opening times are 7am until 7pm Monday to friday.

We are able to provide Full & Part time, Temporary,Live in or out Nannies,Nanny/Housekeepers,Mother's & Father's Help's,Maternity Nurses,Night Nannies,Flight Nannies (to escort children on overseas & domestic flights),Holiday Nannies (nannies who will accompany you & your family on holiday) Ad Hoc Nannies for one off days & short notice Nannies! 

French, Italian & Spanish speaking Nannies and Babysitters are also on our books.

We also have Norland and Chiltern trained Nannies available.

12 hour OFSTED recognised Paediatric First Aid courses are also available locally through us every six months (March & September).

CRB enhanced disclosures are obtainable through us.

We have a dedicated team of babysitters who will come to your home and creche staff for any function,ie Weddings,Conferences,Parties etc.

All of our Nannies have varying experience & some have certain specialism's in particular fields of childcare such as Aspergers,Autism,Asthma,Epilepsy,Diabetes,Twins,Family Bereavement, we are also able to provide Nannies who will be happy to assist you in special circumstances ie custody arrangements.

We request that all our Nannies be First aid trained to OFSTED requirements (12 Hour Paediatric),hold an Enhanced CRB Disclosure,provide us with 2 contactable recent referees.

The Nannies are interviewed by us personally and we ask that they provide us with original documentation of Qualification/Training certificates,CRB,Nanny Insurance,Driving licence,OFSTED certificates,Passport,birth/marriage certificate,change of name deed and at least 2 written references from previous employers.
